Materials needed: shoestring (or string, yarn, etc.)
Children will thread the shoestring, or other chosen lacing material) through the holes.

Children will create the different emotions on the face mat.

Children will use the strips to build the letter on the card.

Children will trace the letter on the card with an erasable marker.

Alphabet Reading Strips
Children will read the predictable text, “(Letter) is for (object).”

Children will identify the stick figure that shows the correct pose of the child by clipping a peg to it.
