What are Letter of the Week packets?

The aim of Letter of the Week packets is to teach students one letter of the alphabet each week. That means the entire alphabet can be taught in 26 weeks – in theory! While that’s a nice theory, that’s not always the case. Sometimes letters are introduced daily and other times, a couple over a week. This will depend on what works best for your students! Regardless of teaching method, the Preschool Alphabet Letter of the Week packets focus on the first step towards learning to read and write: teaching students letter recognition, letter formation and beginning sounds. Each worksheet, game or activity in these packets have been created with this goal in mind.
